SR Vocational Training [SRVT] Thiruvannamalai was initiated by PRIMARY HEALTH ECONOMIC AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT TRUST (PHEARDT) an NGO working for Rural Development, Women development, child development, Rural Medical management and Disaster management issues for the past 12 years and worked locally and nationally, The SRVT academy for Livelihood and Vocational Training aims at developing skilled manpower through diversified courses to meet the requirements of mainly the unorganized sector. It instills self – employment skills in people through its industry-matched and need – based designed courses. Hence, reducing the mismatch between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the context of higher global and domestic demands in the emerging economic scenario.

As per the circular of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India New Delhi Notification No 26/4/52 c c. Dated on 20/09/1952 issued in a consultation with the Union Public Service Commission That in case of Degree/ Diploma awarded by Board/ University in India which are incorporated by an Act of central/ State Legislature in India. No formal order recognition such Degree/ Diploma need be issued by Govt. Such Degree should be recognized automatically for the purpose of employment.

SRVT Learning was legally established under the guidance of jurists, eminent educationists and Social works for the development of education in wide areas. Government of Tamilnadu, registered the SRVT Prorogation and development of education on the pattern of Nan-Formal, Private, Open continuing, SRVT is established for development of education under the guidelines of national education policy 1986 GOVT. of India and programme of action 1992 GOVT. of India.
